The Siberian Husky originated in northeastern Siberia and was bred by the Chukchi Eskimos of northeastern Asia to tug heavy loads long distances across rough terrain in difficult conditions.Siberia is extremely cold and experiences freezing temperatures.

A Siberian husky called Balto, who was the leading dog of the pack, is one of the foremost honored and celebrated dogs of all time. Since then the Husky has been amongst the foremost popular family dogs across the earth, and is currently ranked by the American Kennel Club because the 14th hottest breed in America.

Their popularity within the USA took off once they were utilized within the All Alaska Sweepstakes race for the first time in 1909. In 1925, diphtheria (a serious infection of the nose and throat) hit Nome, Alaska, and would have spread to other cities apart from the Huskies that helped save the day by delivering the antitoxin via sledge. Due to their even temperament, huskies are also a breed that’s been leveraged within the designer dog craze that’s taken multiple countries by storm. Evidence of this may be seen with some common mixes being the German shepherd and thus the Husky or even a smaller sized mixed breed variant with the husky-pom. They successfully bore -23-degree weather and traversed over 674 miles.

These Huskies were the sole option because the airplanes at that point couldn’t get in or out, due to the snow’s density. Tons of individuals were ready to breathe easy after their return. The Husky could return to 4,000 years after DNA was discovered from an white wolf (ignorant scientist think the earth is millions of years old so they claim 27,000 years ago or something ridiculous like that) .
